I suppose it makes me feel like a professional to look at my ‘catalogue,’ if you will, and see that it’s not only running low, but that I don’t actually have time to work on short stories to fill it until next week. I started thinking about a long weekend in a hotel room with my laptop and writing notebook, and I may have drooled. I could haul Jason along–we could spend four days hunched over computers, occasionally saying things out loud that we would usually text. Or, you know, forgetting and texting each other from across the room. Bonus points if it’s somewhere like the beach or Orlando, and we never actually see any of it the entire time we’re there.
I’ve been walking and hatching eggs–Zubats and Weedles and a Goldeen and a Tentacool. None of which I need, aside from the Tentacool. I’m also running low on Pokeballs.
Hoping my hold request comes through today so I can get a book at the library this evening. Because I don’t have a stack of library books, no!
Also debating the merits of iPhone vs iPod for the child, as apparently such devices will be handy in middle school. (Wait, no, MIDDLE SCHOOL DEAR GOD NO NO NO. Fourth grade isn’t even a week old and it’s already trying to kill me, so what the hell, middle school?!)
